Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify God by establishing a vibrant, faith-filled presence on cruise ships, amusement parks or anywhere families go to vacation. Through worship services, Bible studies, prayer ministry, one-on-one conversations, and acts of service, we seek to reach thrill seekers, those seeking rest and renewal, vacationing passengers and the hardworking international crew members often far from home and family. We are committed to living out the Great Commission in a unique environment, demonstrating Christ’s love through excellence in hospitality, genuine relationships, and Spirit-led ministry.

Our Story
This vision was formed after an impromptu Bible study aboard a cruise ship in January 2026. God opened the eyes of our President, Angela Dodd, to a mission field that felt very underserved. As the vision grew and we began prayerfully considering all that God wanted us to do as we sought to reach both believers and unbelievers alike in places where the gospel of Jesus is often forgotten. Â
At the heart of Abide & Roam, we seek to keep Christians connected to their faith while they travel, as well as show the love of Jesus to workers in the travel industry such as crew on cruise ships and staff at popular theme parks both within the US and abroad.Â
In living out the great commission we also seek to connect new believers we encounter with a large, growing network of Bible believing churches across the US, who will disciple and nurture their new faith. Â
