Hell Lost Another One!

This one will be a quick update, but one of the most exciting ones so far!

If you read the blog or social media posts from our August cruise, we shared Rhona with you all. This sweet soul has been on our hearts and minds for the last 4 weeks. We stayed in contact, shared scriptures, prayers, and encouragement through messages the entire time. Last week Izzy and I went back on her ship again to continue the gospel conversations with her, give her some printed resources, and a full version of the scriptures she can read.

The enemy was on attack and the weather refused to cooperate with us for our outdoor meetings (that will be explained in a later post). We were finally able to meet in person on Friday night, the night before we were due to get off the ship. I called on prayer warriors to pray away the rain and it was a gorgeous evening!

The Holy Spirit was leading the conversation and after 90 minutes of talking through scriptures, questions, fears, and hopes... Rhona proclaimed Jesus as her savior! She didn't want to go to bed that evening without knowing she would wake up in Heaven if her earthly life ended. She stood up, looked towards Heaven and proclaimed she felt like a giant weight had been physically lifted off her! What a testament to the Holy Spirit indwelling a new believer, it was like you could see that spiritual change take place in a physical way.

She will remain on the ship for a few more weeks then return home to the Philippines. She has already been connected with a Christian church there through a missionary (baptist) church plant that is now being pastored by a native pastor. She will be baptized there when she returns.

Please continue to pray for her, as we know the enemy will be on the prowl for her even harder now. Pray that we can remain in constant contact with her to continue the discipleship and encouragement. I am also working on creating a video series for youtube where these new believers can land for some additional discipleship on their own schedule.

Thank you all for your continues support. We are seeing the fruits of our labors, souls are being won for Christ and lives are being changed. Praise God for His abundant mercy and grace.
